This Privacy Policy explains how the TrendAI mobile application (“TrendAI”, the “App”) processes user information. Operator identity has not yet been published. Contact: Support email has not yet been published.

1. Information we process

  • Account information: email address, name/display name, user ID, and authentication-provider identifiers when Google or Apple sign-in is used.
  • User content: profile image, wardrobe/clothing images, and clothing metadata such as name, category, color, and related wardrobe information.
  • Preferences and app records: style preferences, AI outfit history, favorites, shopping list items, and records related to AI suggestions.
  • Subscription information: Premium entitlement/status and related in-app purchase state. TrendAI does not directly collect credit or debit card numbers; App Store purchases are processed through Apple’s payment infrastructure.
  • Technical information: limited server/request information reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, and operation of the service.

2. Why we use information

  • to create and authenticate accounts and manage sessions;
  • to provide wardrobe, outfit history, favorites, and shopping-list features;
  • to provide AI-powered clothing analysis and outfit suggestions requested by users;
  • to store and display images;
  • to verify Premium entitlements and enforce usage limits;
  • to protect the service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot technical issues.

3. Artificial intelligence features

TrendAI uses AI service providers to provide requested fashion and outfit features. When an AI feature is used, clothing images and/or clothing, style, weather, and outfit-related information may be sent to an AI provider to the extent necessary to provide that feature.

AI-generated outfits, descriptions, and images are produced automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a user’s expectations. They are not professional advice.

4. Service providers

  • Google / Gemini: AI analysis and text and/or image generation.
  • Cloudinary: storage and delivery of user and application images.
  • Pexels: searching for fashion/product images related to AI suggestions; product search terms may be sent to Pexels.
  • RevenueCat: management of App Store subscriptions and Premium entitlements.
  • Apple and Google: authentication when the user chooses third-party sign-in.

These providers may process data under their own privacy policies and terms.

5. Sale and disclosure

TrendAI does not sell personal information for data-broker purposes. Information may be processed by service providers as necessary to operate the App, verify subscriptions, provide security, and fulfill AI features requested by the user. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law.

6. Retention

Information may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to provide the account and requested App features. Following an account-deletion request, user-related data is deleted or de-identified to the extent technically and legally reasonable. Limited records may be retained where necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.

7. Security

TrendAI uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect user information. No method of transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.

8. Account and data deletion

Users who create an account can initiate deletion from Profile → Account Settings → Delete Account in the App. Deletion is intended to remove the account and associated user-owned wardrobe, outfit history, favorites, shopping-list items, preferences, and similar records.

Deleting a TrendAI account may not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription. Subscriptions can be managed through the user’s Apple account subscription settings.

9. Children

TrendAI is not specifically designed for children. Users are responsible for complying with applicable age and parental-consent requirements in their jurisdiction.

10. Changes

This policy may be updated as the App or its data practices change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated date.
